Founder's Message
It is my great pleasure to welcome to you to our school website. Here you will find a variety of information related to our school programs (academics, operations, transportation, food services, etc.), our staff, and our organization. Buffalo Creek Academy is a free, public, non-profit charter school, a Cambridge International School, and we have a Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Cadet Squadron. This means that in addition to being BCA Bulldogs, our students are Cambridge Learners and CAP Cadets.
We are a premier 5th-8th grade middle-school. Our campus is located at 528 South Park Ave. We are adjacent to historical neighborhoods and not far from downtown Buffalo. As a regional school, we accept students from all across the Buffalo-Niagara region.
Our students have access to a newly remodeled school building, with the latest safety and health driven designs. Our teachers and principals are passionate about providing high-quality instruction and our operations staff takes pride in providing high-quality services.
Why Cambridge? I have taught and led Cambridge schools all over the world. As a superintendent, I have personally graduated many High School students with the Cambridge program, and they all went off the do very well in college and beyond. I am proud to have brought this program to Buffalo.
As for CAP, my experience with Air Force-based youth programs dates back to 1999 when I started as an Air Force JROTC cadet in High School. I went on to join the Civil Air Patrol in 2004 as an adult Senior Member. Needless to say, I have first-hand experience of the benefits that the Air Force-based youth programs can bring to young people. I proudly watch my students positively transform as they become cadets.
